Most leaders wait for their team to prove themselves before offering trust. I do the opposite: I give trust first.
Real trust isn't built through successful sprints; it’s built in the trenches. If you want a high-performing team, you have to be the one to:
*️⃣Take the fall when things go sideways.
*️⃣Share your abysmal failures along with your wins.
*️⃣Provide a safety net so they can work outside their comfort zone.
Vulnerability isn’t a weakness in leadership—it’s the cornerstone of a trusting relationship. When you stop being a Controller and start being a Coach, you stop managing tasks and start leading people.
